The Control Room Management programme is formally endorsed by the National Skills Academy for Nuclear (NSAN). It is aimed at learners who are either members of a contracted guarding company, site personnel employed as Control Room Operators, or Incident Responders.
It has been developed for those who want to improve their operational crisis management capability. Learners will understand how to manage workplace incidents and how to work in a seamless partnership with the police and other blue light services. The training is delivered to provide a number of challenging and realistic scenarios relevant to the industry they operate in and their own specific work environments.
Successful completion of this training programme offers the business supporting evidence that they have Suitably Qualified and Experienced Persons (SQEP) to regulatory bodies such as the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR).
As specialist trainers, we understand that empowering learners in realistic environments and allowing them to experience certain situations first-hand will help them get the most out of the training experience. It is for that reason that we recommend this training to be delivered at our client’s site in the learners’ natural environment and workplace.
