Ubique Risk Management is proud to be among the first training providers in the UK approved to deliver the SFJ Awards Level 3 Award in Counter-Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness, making us one of a select group of centres authorised to offer this qualification nationally.
The Level 3 Award was developed in partnership with the National Counter-Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) and holds the distinction of being the only counter-terrorism qualification in the UK endorsed by both NaCTSO and Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP). That dual endorsement means learners and organisations can be confident the content reflects current national guidance, operational priorities, and best practice from the bodies responsible for counter-terrorism security at a national level.
The qualification is aimed at individuals with responsibility for venues, sites, and organisations, including security managers, facilities leads, and those in operational roles where an understanding of protective security is essential.
The qualification is directly relevant to organisations preparing for the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, commonly known as Martyn’s Law. The legislation places formal duties on venue operators and event organisers to have protective security and preparedness measures in place. The Level 3 Award provides a structured, accredited pathway for those responsible for meeting those duties to develop the knowledge and competence required.
